Dixon Technologies’ subsidiary Dixon Electro Appliances (DEAPL) has entered into an intellectual property (IP) licensing agreement with telecom equipment company Aviat Networks India to manufacture and market microwave radios.
As part of the agreement, Aviat has provided DEAPL with a limited licence to use certain intellectual property, including technical know-how, exclusively for manufacturing, using, offering for sale and selling microwave radio equipment, according to Dixon’s regulatory filing.
Headquartered in Texas, Aviat Networks focuses on wireless transport solutions and has supplied more than one million systems globally. Its customer base includes telecom operators as well as private network operators, state and local government bodies, utilities, federal government agencies and defence organisations.
