Focus on 4G Expansion and 5G Readiness

BSNL priority is the deployment of 1 lakh 4G sites across India, a project that has been delayed, but continuously moving forward. Meanwhile, the telco has also started 5G tests in major circles like New Delhi, which aims to launch services in select areas after completion of 4G expansion

What This Means for BSNL

While profitability remains a challenge, the narrow disadvantages of BSNL, improvement in EBITDA, and low cost highlight a positive change in its financial health.
