Airtel Business has launched Airtel Secure Workforce, a fully managed Zero Trust Architecture-based cybersecurity platform designed to provide enterprises with integrated and compliance-ready protection against growing cyber threats. Powered by Airtel’s nationwide network and 24×7 monitoring, the platform secures users, devices, applications, networks, and data through a unified framework while supporting compliance with India’s DPDP Act. Airtel said the solution can help businesses reduce cybersecurity operational costs by up to 30 percent and improve secure remote access, threat detection, and governance. Built for hybrid work environments, the platform also includes a centralised dashboard, AI application monitoring, and audit-ready controls. Alongside the launch, Airtel Business introduced a Secure Workforce Centre of Excellence hosted on Airtel Cloud, allowing enterprises to evaluate the platform before deployment.

Airtel Business, the enterprise division of Bharti Airtel, has introduced Airtel Secure Workforce, a fully managed cybersecurity solution built on Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) for businesses. The company described it as India’s first integrated and fully managed ZTA-based platform, designed to deliver end-to-end, compliance-focused protection for enterprises operating in an increasingly complex digital security environment.

Introducing Airtel Secure Workforce

Announcing the launch on May 7, 2026, Airtel Business said the platform combines a unified Zero Trust security framework with a complete compliance-ready protection stack tailored for enterprise requirements.

The launch comes amid a rise in large-scale and sophisticated cyber threats, with over two million cybersecurity incidents reported worldwide in 2025. Powered by Airtel’s nationwide network infrastructure and supported by round-the-clock expert monitoring, the platform is designed to secure users, devices, networks, applications, and enterprise data through a single integrated system.

Focus on Compliance and Operational Efficiency

Airtel Business stated that the platform has been developed to support compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act while helping organisations move away from fragmented multi-vendor security environments. According to the company, the unified approach can reduce cybersecurity operational costs by up to 30 percent while improving secure remote access, endpoint visibility, and threat response capabilities.

Commenting on the launch, Sharat Sinha, CEO of Airtel Business, said enterprises are increasingly facing targeted and AI-driven cyber threats affecting users and devices. He noted that Airtel Secure Workforce combines managed security with secure connectivity to provide continuous protection for enterprise users, data, and infrastructure. He added that the integrated model is intended to help businesses optimise security spending while remaining focused on growth.

Designed for Hybrid Work Models

The platform has been built to support hybrid work environments and address common enterprise challenges such as excessive security tools, alert fatigue, and limited cybersecurity expertise. Airtel said the solution provides a centralised dashboard with visibility across endpoints, networks, users, and data, enabling protection across email, web access, applications, and connected devices, while also detecting unauthorised cloud and AI-based applications.

DPDP Compliance Capabilities

According to the company, Airtel Secure Workforce includes features aligned with the DPDP Act, including audit-ready logging, data movement controls, and structured incident management workflows to strengthen governance and response mechanisms.

Airtel Launches Secure Workforce Centre of Excellence

Alongside the platform, Airtel Business also unveiled the Airtel Secure Workforce Centre of Excellence (CoE). Hosted on Airtel Cloud, the facility is designed as a live demonstration environment where enterprises can test and evaluate the platform before wider deployment.
