Vodafone Idea 5G Launched in Mumbai

Vodafone Idea has officially launched its commercial 5G services in Mumbai, Maharashtra, marking its entry into the 5G race in India. The telecom operator plans to expand coverage across the country in phases, with Delhi, Punjab, Bihar, and Karnataka next in line to receive 5G connectivity.   

To support the rollout, Vodafone Idea has introduced a dedicated microsite highlighting the benefits of Vi 5G, along with prepaid and postpaid plan details. The website also confirms that 5G coverage will expand to Delhi, Punjab, Bihar, and Karnataka by April 2025. Customers can access Vi 5G services using their existing SIM card in a 5G-compatible device.
