BSNL Chennai 4G Service to Launch Soon

Chennai Telephones, a division of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), is set to launch 4G services for its customers in Chennai. BSNL has already started offering 4G services in 19 villages in the Thiruvallur district, marking a significant upgrade for its customers who can now enjoy faster and more reliable internet services.

Existing BSNL 2G and 3G customers with older SIM cards are encouraged to visit nearby BSNL customer service centers, retailers, franchisees, or direct selling agents (DSAs) to upgrade to 4G SIM cards at no cost. To facilitate this transition, BSNL plans to install 2,114 4G towers, with work currently underway.

The rollout will extend to key districts including Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpet. This initiative represents a significant step in enhancing the digital infrastructure in Tamil Nadu, providing customers with improved connectivity and access to modern telecommunications services.
