India’s 5G rollout continues to accelerate, including over 6,400 new 5G base stations (BTS) in September 2025, which has taken a total of 5.04 lakh 5G sites across the country. According to the stats by DoT, the total number of towers in India has reached 504,588 by the end of September 2025, which was 498,135 in August. This means that 6,453 new sites were installed in a month, showing the most significant monthly increase this year.
