Jio’s home broadband services are now offered under the JioHome segment, which includes this plan along with several bundled over-the-top (OTT) streaming subscriptions. Below is a detailed look at what the broadband plan offers.

Details of Reliance Jio’s Rs 1,499 Broadband Plan

The Reliance Jio Rs 1,499 broadband plan offers symmetrical speeds of 300 Mbps for both downloads and uploads. It also includes free voice calling, although customers must purchase a compatible landline instrument separately, as Jio does not sell landline devices. The plan further bundles access to more than 1,000 on-demand TV channels.

A wide range of OTT subscriptions is included with the plan. These benefits consist of Netflix (Basic), Amazon Prime Lite, YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, TimesPlay, TarangPlus, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, ETV Win, and FanCode, all accessible via JioTV+. Customers can choose to subscribe to this plan on a prepaid basis for three, six, or 12 months.

The plan is available for both JioFiber and Jio AirFiber users. JioFiber customers receive a monthly data allowance of 3.3TB (3,300GB), while AirFiber users get 1TB (1,000GB) of data. Once the fair usage policy (FUP) limit is exhausted, internet speeds are reduced to 64 Kbps.

Amazon Prime Lite is bundled with the plan for a validity period of two years. Applicable GST is charged additionally on the plan price, along with GST on any other applicable components at the time of final billing.
