Vodafone Idea Lauches 5G Service in Jaipur

Vodafone Idea (VI) has officially launched its 5G services in Jaipur, which marks the entry into Rajasthan’s high-speed mobile broadband space. With this rollout, VI aims to provide an enlarged user experience through advanced infrastructure and AI-operated adaptation. Following the approach of the contestants Jio and Airtel, service is available for free for users recharging with 299 or more. 

Vodafone Idea considers 5G launch to Jaipur, India’s third largest telecom operator Vi has launched the Non-Standalone (NSA) 5G services in Jaipur, which is expanding its 5G footprint in major cities. With this, Rajasthan joined other Vi 5G-coverage areas, including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chandigarh, Patna and Nagpur. 

Vodafone Idea Brings 5G to Jaipur 

Jaipur, a center for tourism in India, is an important place for the company’s 5G strategy. Vi’s 5G network is available to recharge with market trends set by Jio and Airtel at no extra cost. Supported equipment and network type Vi has chosen for 5G NSA (non-standard architecture) the same technology used by Airtel-which is supported by most modern smartphones in India. This makes users widely accessible without the need for users to upgrade. 

To ensure a premium 5G experience in Jaipur, VI has partnered with Ericsson to deploy energy-efficient infrastructure. Additionally, AI-based self-organizing network technology is being used to increase network performance, speed, coverage and reliability dynamically.  

Official Statement Shailendra Singh, Operations Director at Vodafone Idea, stated 

“As we launch Vi 5G in Jaipur, we are excited to bring the future of connectivity to the Pink City. With our next-gen 5G and robust 4G network, we aim to provide more options and an enhanced experience to our users. We are committed to expanding our 5G footprint across the circle, in line with growing demand and 5G handset adoption.” 

With the Jaipur launch, Vi continues to strengthen its position in India’s 5G landscape, aiming to provide seamless connectivity and a superior user experience. Backed by AI and partnerships with global tech leaders, Vi is poised to meet the evolving digital needs of both urban and semi-urban India.
