Vodafone Idea eSIM Available for Prepaid Users in Mumbai

Vodafone Idea unveiled eSIM services for its prepaid customers in Mumbai on Monday, marking a significant stride toward delivering seamless, expedited, and eco-friendly connectivity to millions of Indians, according to a statement released by Vi. The eSIM service, available to both iOS and Android users, is compatible with various handsets, including Apple iPhone XR and newer models, Vivo X90 Pro, Nokia G60, Nokia X30, as well as flagship Samsung devices like Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 2, among others. 

The introduction of eSIM for prepaid customers by Vodafone Idea aims to enhance convenience and flexibility for Vi subscribers using compatible smartphones or smartwatch devices. With eSIM technology, users can maintain multiple profiles on a single device, enabling them to conveniently utilize a secondary SIM card alongside their primary one without needing to physically swap SIM cards. Sumit Agarwal, Business Head – Mumbai, Vodafone Idea, emphasized the company’s commitment to introducing services that prioritize customer convenience and value. He stated, “Embracing eSIM technology not only reflects our ongoing efforts to meet the evolving needs of our customers but also leverages advanced technologies towards a sustainable future.”
