BSNL AirFibre Delivers 200 Mbps Speed with OTT Benefits at an Attractive Price

Summary:
BSNL’s AirFibre 200 Mbps plan offers a value-focused Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) broadband service with 5TB monthly data, speeds of up to 200 Mbps, unlimited landline calling, and access to multiple OTT platforms, including JioHotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV, and Lionsgate Play. Running on BSNL’s 4G network, the plan provides a higher monthly data allowance than comparable offerings from Jio and Airtel, making it an attractive option for users with heavy internet and streaming requirements.

State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) was among the earliest service providers in India to introduce AirFibre, its Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) broadband offering. Unlike other operators that launched similar services using 5G, BSNL deployed AirFibre on its 4G network. Since the service has not been promoted extensively, many users remain unaware of its available plans. One of its notable offerings combines high-speed broadband with multiple OTT (over-the-top) subscriptions at a competitive price, making it an attractive option for broadband customers. The plan delivers internet speeds of up to 200 Mbps along with a range of entertainment benefits.

BSNL AirFibre 200 Mbps Plan

The BSNL AirFibre 200 Mbps plan includes access to several OTT platforms such as JioHotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV, Lionsgate Play, Hungama, ShemarooMe, EpicOn, and others. Subscribers receive broadband speeds of up to 200 Mbps along with 5,000GB (5TB) of monthly Fair Usage Policy (FUP) data. After the monthly data limit is exhausted, internet speeds are reduced to 10 Mbps. The plan also comes with a landline connection that enables unlimited voice calls to all networks. Customers need to purchase the landline handset separately, as it is not included with the service, although no additional calling charges apply.

Compared with many competing broadband providers, the plan offers a significantly higher monthly data allowance. While operators such as Jio and Airtel generally provide up to 3.3TB of monthly data, BSNL’s 5TB allocation makes this AirFibre plan a strong value proposition for users with high data consumption requirements.
