Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecom operators, has enhanced network connectivity at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, which is set to host IPL 2025 matches. The stadium will be the venue for two home games of Rajasthan Royals (RR), drawing thousands of cricket fans. To ensure seamless connectivity, Airtel has significantly boosted its network infrastructure in and around the stadium.

This initiative ensures our customers stay seamlessly connected, allowing them to share their excitement with loved ones while enjoying the live action,” said Rabi Shankar Mishra, CEO – Assam and Northeast, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel Expanding Stadium Connectivity Across India

Beyond Barsapara Stadium, Airtel has also enhanced network connectivity at M. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The telco is rolling out network upgrades across multiple IPL venues to ensure fans stay connected while attending matches. With IPL 2025 in full swing, Airtel’s efforts aim to deliver superior mobile connectivity, enabling users to stream, share, and communicate effortlessly during live matches.
