Bharti Airtel Priority Postpaid Could Face Potential Concerns

Bharti Airtel Priority Postpaid Could Face Potential Concerns

Summary:
Bharti Airtel has launched its Priority Postpaid service in India, allowing users to access the company’s 5G standalone network through network slicing technology for faster and more stable connectivity. However, some users have reported compatibility-related issues. One user on X claimed that Airtel’s app showed their OPPO Find X9 Pro 5G device was not enabled for the service, despite Airtel recommending an updated operating system version. The screenshot also indicated that 5G coverage was unavailable in the user’s location, which may be the primary reason the Priority Postpaid feature was not accessible.

Bharti Airtel recently introduced its Priority Postpaid service for customers in India. Through this offering, users can access Airtel’s 5G standalone (SA) network using network slicing technology. The company has optimised its 5G SA infrastructure specifically for Priority Postpaid subscribers to provide an improved network experience, including faster speeds and more stable connectivity. However, some users appear to be encountering issues with the service.

A user on X (formerly Twitter) reported that Airtel’s application showed their OPPO Find X9 Pro 5G device was not enabled for the Priority Postpaid feature. The screenshot shared by the user indicated that Airtel advised ensuring the smartphone was updated to the latest operating system version.

Another important detail highlighted in the screenshot was that Airtel’s app also stated that 5G coverage was unavailable in the user’s city or area. This may be the main reason why the device was unable to access the Priority Postpaid service.
