Know About Airtel postpaid plans Bundled with Blue Ribbon Bags Baggage Protection

Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecom operator, has partnered with Blue Ribbon Bags to offer its baggage protection service as part of its postpaid plans. Blue Ribbon Bags provides travelers with peace of mind by offering crisis concierge support and a $1,000 guarantee per bag if lost and not recovered within four days. The service is applicable globally across all airlines

Airtel is bundling this service with all its postpaid plans, starting from ₹449 per month. In addition to baggage protection, Airtel’s postpaid plans also include Airtel Xstream Premium and unlimited 5G data. While the exact terms of the offer remain unclear, the benefit is now listed on Airtel’s website, confirming its availability in India at no extra cost to postpaid users.

This marks the first time an Indian telecom operator has collaborated with Blue Ribbon Bags to provide baggage coverage to its customers. However, the service is exclusive to air travelers and does not extend to railway passengers. For frequent flyers, this partnership adds significant value to Airtel’s postpaid offerings.

Airtel remains the largest postpaid mobile service provider in India, followed by Vodafone Idea, while Reliance Jio still lags in this segment. Airtel’s postpaid plans are standardized across telecom circles, with premium plans also bundling OTT benefits like Netflix, similar to offerings from other telecom operators.
