Airtel Blinkit Teams Up for 10 Minute SIM Card Delivery

Bharti Airtel has joined hands with Blinkit to offer 10-minute doorstep delivery of prepaid and postpaid SIM cards across 16 cities in India. This initiative is aimed at making mobile connectivity more accessible, including support for mobile number portability (MNP), allowing users to switch from other networks with ease. Customers will be required to pay a small convenience fee of ₹49 and complete a self-KYC process to activate their SIMs.

Fast, Paperless Activation

SIMs ordered via Blinkit will be delivered within just 10 minutes. Activation is simple and paperless, thanks to an Aadhaar-based self-KYC process. Both prepaid and postpaid plans are available at the time of ordering, and customers looking to port their existing numbers to Airtel can also avail of this service.

To ensure a smooth experience, customers are advised to activate their SIMs within 15 days of delivery. Airtel offers support through an online video guide and the Airtel Thanks app. New users can also contact the helpline at 9810012345 for assistance.

Airtel and Blinkit SIM Delivery Available in These Cities

This quick SIM delivery service is currently available in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Airtel and Blinkit plan to expand this service to more locations depending on demand and performance.

Blinkit’s Growing Quick-Commerce Portfolio

The initiative is part of Blinkit’s broader effort to diversify its quick commerce offerings. Recently, the platform also began delivering Apple products such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs, along with Xiaomi smartphones, Nokia feature phones, and various computer accessories.
