Navi Mumbai Airport Frog Cellsat to Build Network Coverage with OneDAS Deployment

Indian telecom equipment manufacturer Frog Cellsat Limited (FCL) has secured a contract valued at over Rs 16 crore with Metro Telworks Limited to deploy its OneDAS system at the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport. The agreement, finalized during India Mobile Congress 2024, marks FCL’s third major airport contract in just three months, following successful deployments at Noida’s Jewar International Airport and Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. 

OneDAS System Deployment 

The OneDAS (Active Distributed Antenna System) will significantly enhance 4G and 5G network coverage throughout the new Navi Mumbai airport, ensuring seamless connectivity for travelers, employees, and stakeholders alike. 

Konark Trivedi, Founder and Managing Director of Frog Cellsat, expressed his enthusiasm for the contract:   

“We are honored to have received this prestigious contract from Metro Telworks Limited. Navi Mumbai International Airport is set to become a key global hub, and our advanced DAS solution will play a vital role in enhancing the mobile experience for millions of users. This project underscores the capability of our solutions in high-demand environments and marks our third major airport contract in the last three months.” 

Project Timeline 

Frog Cellsat’s solutions are designed to meet the evolving demands of modern communication networks in critical infrastructure settings. The project is expected to be completed by FY25.
