Vodafone Idea Unveils IoT Smart Central for Enterprise Solutions

Vodafone Idea (Vi), India’s third-largest telecom operator, has introduced ‘IoT Smart Central’ tailored for its enterprise clientele, managed under Vi Business across the nation. This innovative platform offers enterprise customers access to a sophisticated, fully integrated, self-service IoT connectivity and device management solution. Through IoT Smart Central, enterprises gain the capability to monitor, control, and oversee IoT (Internet-of-Things) assets remotely and in real-time.

Vi Business clients can now enjoy a comprehensive overview of all their IoT assets and exercise remote management through the platform. This functionality extends across diverse sectors such as banking, utilities, automotive, and more, facilitating the management of both simple and complex tasks.

Additionally, enterprises utilizing the platform to supervise IoT assets can address issues remotely and receive proactive alerts to prevent overlooking critical concerns. Vi Business highlights that one of the distinguishing features of IoT Smart Central is its provision of a dynamic billing model and customized rate plans based on usage patterns, leveraging advanced analytics.

The predictive maintenance feature embedded within Vi IoT Smart Central ensures minimal downtime and enhanced operational efficiency. Notably, Revolt Motors, an electric motorcycle company in India, has already embraced this platform with enthusiasm.

Sandeep Kumar, Director at Revolt Motors, emphasized the pivotal role played by Vi Business as their IoT solution partner, enabling seamless management of IoT assets’ lifecycle. Kumar lauded Vi Business IoT Smart Central for reducing operational costs, enhancing real-time visibility, and automating multiple operational workflows, thus sustaining their competitive advantage.
