Vodafone Idea Best Unlimited Data Plans

Vodafone Idea Best Unlimited Data Plans

Vodafone Idea (Vi), India’s third-largest telecom operator, has listed two of its prepaid plans as best sellers on its website. These plans, priced at ₹649 and ₹979, offer unlimited 4G data along with other benefits. For those unaware, Vi recently introduced unlimited data with its prepaid plans, a move aimed at competing with Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. However, “unlimited” in this context follows a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 300GB every 28 days. For longer-duration plans, this means users get 300GB for each 28-day period.

Vodafone Idea ₹649 Prepaid Plan Details

The ₹649 plan includes unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited data, subject to the 300GB FUP per 28 days. The plan comes with a total validity of 56 days. However, no additional bundled benefits are offered.

Vodafone Idea ₹979 Prepaid Plan Details

The ₹979 plan offers similar benefits, including unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited data with a 300GB FUP per 28 days. The key difference is its longer service validity of 84 days. Like the ₹649 plan, this plan does not include any extra perks.

These plans have been positioned as Vi’s response to Jio and Airtel’s unlimited 5G offers, which provide unlimited 5G data with 2GB daily data plans. While Vi’s plans are limited to 4G, they still provide a substantial data allowance, making them attractive for heavy data users. Customers interested in exploring more Vi plans with unlimited data can visit the company’s website or mobile app for further details.
