Vodafone Idea 84 Days Prepaid Plans Explained with All Benefits

Vodafone Idea (Vi), the third-largest private telecom operator in India, caters to around 217 million subscribers, offering a range of prepaid plans with diverse benefits. Over the weekend, we examined all the bundled benefits Vi offers across its prepaid plans. While we’ve already covered Vi’s one-year validity offerings, let’s now explore their 84-day validity segment:

Currently, as listed on Vi’s website/app, there are eight prepaid plans with 84-day validity. Here’s a breakdown from the highest to the lowest pricing:

1. Vodafone Idea Rs 1,599 Prepaid Plan – Netflix Basic

Vi’s Rs 1,599 Hero plan is the most expensive in the 84-day segment, marketed as a premium package. It provides unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2.5GB of daily data. Once the daily limit is reached, speeds reduce to 64 Kbps. The plan includes a Netflix Basic subscription (TV + Mobile) for 84 days.

Additional Hero perks include Binge All Night (unlimited data from 12 AM to 6 AM), Weekend Data Rollover (carry forward unused weekday data to weekends), and Data Delights (up to 2GB of backup data monthly via the Vi app).

As part of the Vi Guarantee, eligible users receive 10GB of free data every 28 days, totaling 130GB annually.

2. Vodafone Idea Rs 998 Hero Prepaid Plan – SonyLiv

The Rs 998 Hero prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of data daily, with speeds dropping to 64 Kbps after the quota. This plan comes with an 84-day SonyLiv subscription.

Additional Hero benefits include Binge All Night, Weekend Data Rollover, and Data Delights (2GB per month). Vi Guarantee offers up to 130GB of free data per year, with 10GB free every 28 days.

3. Vodafone Idea Rs 997 Hero Prepaid Plan – SunNXT

The Rs 997 Hero plan offers similar benefits as the Rs 998 plan but includes a SunNXT subscription with 90 days of access. The plan includes unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data. After reaching the daily limit, data speeds drop to 64 Kbps. This is also marketed as a premium package with Vi Hero and Vi Guarantee perks.

4. Vodafone Idea Rs 996 Hero Prepaid Plan – Amazon Prime Lite

The Rs 996 Hero plan offers similar benefits to the Rs 998 plan but includes an Amazon Prime Lite subscription for 90 days. Prime Lite allows users to stream on two devices in HD (720p) and offers free one-day delivery. Like the other Hero plans, this includes unlimited voice, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data, with speeds reducing to 64 Kbps after the limit. Vi Hero and Vi Guarantee benefits are also included.

5. Vodafone Idea Rs 994 Hero Prepaid Plan – Disney+ Hotstar

The Rs 994 Hero prepaid plan offers the same benefits as the Rs 998 plan but comes with a Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription for 3 months. Users get unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data, with speeds reduced to 64 Kbps after the daily limit. It also includes Vi Hero and Vi Guarantee perks.

6. Vodafone Idea Rs 979 Hero Prepaid Plan – 2GB per Day

This Rs 979 Hero prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data with 84 days of validity. After exceeding the daily limit, data speeds reduce to 64 Kbps. Unlike the previous plans, this does not include any OTT subscriptions. However, it still offers Hero benefits like Binge All Night, Weekend Data Rollover, and Data Delights. Eligible users can also get up to 130GB of free data annually via the Vi Guarantee.

7. Vodafone Idea Rs 859 Hero Prepaid Plan – 1.5GB per Day

The Rs 859 Hero prepaid plan provides unlimited voice, 100 SMS per day, and 1.5GB of daily data, along with 5GB of bonus data for 3 days. Like other Hero plans, after the daily limit is reached, speeds drop to 64 Kbps. The plan does not include OTT benefits but offers Binge All Night, Weekend Data Rollover, and Data Delights, all claimable via the Vi app. Eligible customers can receive up to 130GB of extra data annually with the Vi Guarantee.

8. Vodafone Idea Rs 509 Prepaid Plan – Voice-Calls

The Rs 509 plan is the most affordable in the 84-day validity segment and focuses on voice benefits. It offers unlimited voice calls, 1,000 SMS, and 6GB of total data. Once the data limit is reached, users are charged 50p per MB. This plan is ideal for customers who prioritize voice services over data usage.
