Ratan Tata's Comapny Tata Communication Joint Hands with Palo Alto Networks to Enhance Cuber Security

Tata Communications has announced a strategic partnership with global cybersecurity leader Palo Alto Networks to provide advanced cybersecurity solutions for enterprises worldwide. This collaboration combines Palo Alto Networks’ cutting-edge technologies with Tata Communications’ expertise in network security, cloud security, and cyberthreat management, offering a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity services.

With the rapid shift towards digital transformation, cloud adoption, and remote workforces, organizations are facing increasingly sophisticated cyberthreats. This partnership aims to address these challenges by delivering robust, integrated, and managed cybersecurity solutions tailored to protect against an expanded attack surface.

Vaibhav Dutta, Associate Vice President and Global Head of Cybersecurity Products & Services at Tata Communications, emphasized the need for a platform-centric approach to cybersecurity: “Our collaboration with Palo Alto Networks integrates essential security tools into a unified cloud and cybersecurity fabric, simplifying security management for enterprises.”

As businesses transition to cloud environments, security concerns such as unauthorized access and lack of visibility arise. Palo Alto Networks’ AI-driven platform, incorporating SIEM, XDR, SOAR, and other Security Operations Center (SOC) tools, helps organizations overcome these issues by streamlining security operations. Tata Communications will also leverage Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Access platform to offer a cloud-based security solution that integrates network security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) 2.0, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) capabilities, ensuring edge security for users.

The partnership includes managed services from Tata Communications, covering the entire lifecycle of Palo Alto Networks solutions, allowing businesses to focus on core operations. Additionally, the collaboration will enhance security posture, reduce response times, improve user experiences, and help enterprises achieve cost savings by consolidating security vendors.

“Tata Communications’ strong track record as a Managed Cybersecurity Service Provider perfectly complements our technologies,” said Michelle Saw, VP GTM and Ecosystems, JAPAC at Palo Alto Networks. “Together, we are empowering enterprises globally to strengthen their security, improve operational efficiency, and effectively mitigate risks.”
