Reliance Jio’s Most Affordable Prepaid Plan to Keep Your SIM Active

Reliance Jio's Most Affordable Prepaid Plan to Keep Your SIM Active

Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, offers one of the most affordable prepaid plans to keep your SIM active with 4G data. If you’re using a Jio SIM as a secondary option primarily for outgoing calls, minimal data, and SMS, this plan is worth considering. Priced at Rs 189, it may not be as cheap as plans from a few years ago, but it’s still one of the best options among private telecom operators. Let’s look at its benefits.

Reliance Jio Rs 189 Prepaid Plan

The Rs 189 plan offers 28 days of service validity, unlimited voice calls, and 2GB of data. It also includes 300 outgoing SMS. Additionally, Jio users get basic subscriptions to JioCinema, JioCloud, and JioTV bundled with this plan. After consuming the 2GB data under the fair usage policy (FUP), the speed reduces to 64 Kbps.

This plan is ideal for users looking to keep their SIM active primarily for calling purposes. If you don’t need extensive data or SMS benefits, this is a great budget option. However, it does not include unlimited 5G access, which is available only with plans offering at least 2GB of daily data.

The Rs 189 plan is available nationwide and can be recharged via the MyJio app, Jio’s official website, or other third-party platforms.
