Indian Mobile Congress 2025 Date Announced by Scindia

For the first time on the global stage, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Minister for Communications and Development in the North East Region, Government of India, announced at MWC Barcelona that the 9th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) will be held in New Delhi from October 8-11, 2025. As Asia’s largest digital technology forum, IMC 2025 is set to be a landmark event, bringing together leading innovators, policymakers, and technology experts from across the world. 

The event is expected to attract over 100,000 attendees from 120+ countries, along with 1,000+ exhibitors, including GSMA. Organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), IMC 2025 will serve as a global platform for exploring the future of connectivity, sustainability, and digital innovation. 

Building on its strong legacy, this edition will showcase key advancements in 5G & 6G, AI, Semiconductors, Electronics Manufacturing, Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, Satellite Communications, Deep-Tech, Clean-Tech, Smart Mobility, Industry 4.0, and Enterprise Transformation. IMC 2025 will also feature ASPIRE, the event’s pioneering startup program, expected to host 1,000+ startups, 300+ investors, incubators, accelerators, and venture capitalists through mentorship workshops, live pitches, networking sessions, and partnership opportunities. 

Speaking about the announcement, Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia stated “India’s remarkable strides in technology and telecommunications are driving us into a new era of digital leadership and economic prosperity. Under the visionary guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are witnessing a fundamental transformation that is empowering citizens and fostering innovation. With this progress, India is set to take the lead in emerging technologies like 6G, AI, and Quantum. India Mobile Congress has played a pivotal role in this journey, strengthening India’s position as a global leader in digital transformation and fostering new opportunities for collaboration.” 

The India Mobile Congress 2024, held in October last year, saw record participation, with over 175,000 attendees, 1,012 exhibitors from 123 countries, and more than 900 technology use cases, including 750 AI-driven innovations. The event also featured 186 sessions with 820+ global and Indian speakers. 

With an even broader scope and participation expected in IMC 2025, the event will continue to position India as a global hub for cutting-edge technology and digital transformation.
