India Poised to Lead the Development of Next-Gen 6G Technology

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, speaking at a Business Summit, stated that India is set to take the lead in developing next-generation 6G technology. He praised telecom service providers for executing the world’s fastest 5G rollout, covering 99% of India’s districts in just 22 months. Scindia also announced that 6G testing is already underway, promising a significant speed boost for users—from the current 20 Mbps to 100 Mbps upon its launch.
