The company will deploy a sophisticated, centralized operations aid system (OSS) to strengthen the middle-meal infrastructure of India in several major states and center areas. This has been done in collaboration with strategic implementation, consortium partners HFCL, ITI-Terasoft, and NCC, designed to enhance network control and visibility, ensuring that high-speed broadband villages and understandable areas reach efficiently and firmly.
Bharatnet Phase-III aims to distribute high-speed broadbands in villages and underscore regions across India, eventually to reduce digital division between urban and rural population. This monumental undertaking involves deploying a centralized OSS platform in the role of Echelon Edge that will unite the management of India’s broad network infrastructure. The scope of this project is huge, which includes important areas like Madhya Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Daman, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh (East and West), Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Punjab. Middle-meal infrastructure, which will manage the solution of the Echelon edge, refers to network connectivity from block headquarters to gram panchayats (village council), which can enable service providers to expand broadband services in villages.
By consolidating various element management systems (EMS) in a harmonious, integrated monitoring ecosystem, the OSS solution will provide centralized commands and control. This consolidation is important to manage the network efficiently, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity in diverse geographical and operating scenarios. The system will also have advanced IP/MPLS provisioning, which facilitates smart routing and scalable backbone communication to meet the growing demand for high -speed internet in rural areas. In addition, the need will introduce the predictive analytics, enabling the network of active monitoring of the health and allowing potential issues to be identified and addressed before affecting service distribution.
Through the comprehensive end-to-end service assurance, the solution will guarantee all the extended, frequent and reliable connectivity to the user from the transport layer (core network) to access points (where users connect). Additionally, the OSS platform will provide a structured regime, which will follow the best practices, for the management of important operating aspects such as events, problems, change management, service level agreement (SLA), and knowledge resources.
