BSNL Launches WiFi Roaming Service Nationwide

BSNL Launches WiFi Roaming Service Nationwide

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a nationwide Wi-Fi roaming service for its FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) customers, allowing them to connect to BSNL’s networks across India. Previously, BSNL FTTH users could only access high-speed internet at their fixed home location. With this new service, customers can now enjoy their broadband connection’s high-speed internet nationwide, even in rural areas with BSNL Wi-Fi coverage.

To activate the service, users simply enter their FTTH connection number and registered mobile number for verification. BSNL aims to enhance customer convenience and broaden its service appeal with this initiative, which sets it apart from private competitors like Jio and Airtel. These companies prefer that users rely on mobile networks while on the go, but BSNL’s Wi-Fi roaming allows FTTH customers to stay connected seamlessly.

As BSNL continues its nationwide 4G rollout, expected to complete by mid-2025, this new Wi-Fi roaming service reflects its commitment to innovation. As the third-largest ISP in India, BSNL’s Bharat Fiber is offering a unique service unmatched by any other PAN-India FTTH provider.
