BSNL 5G SIM Card Launched BSNL 4G & 5G Rollout Gets Boost

BSNL is actively rolling out its 4G services across India and has begun preparations for its 5G network. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently announced that 80,000 towers would be installed by the end of October, with an additional 21,000 by March next year, totaling one lakh 4G network towers by March 2025. He noted that it is possible to use 5G on the existing 4G core, and work is underway to make the necessary modifications to the towers for 5G services. 

Following the recent tariff hike, telecom subscribers in India are increasingly switching from Jio, Airtel, and Vi to BSNL. The state-owned company achieved a significant milestone in Andhra Pradesh by adding 217,000 new connections in July 2024.

In which cities BSNL 5G trial to be conducted? 

BSNL 5G trial will be started in cities like Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. As soon as the trial is completed, people will start getting fast internet. After a report, the company has made full preparations and this trial is going to start within 3 months.
