Airtel International Roaming Pack with Unlimited Data

Airtel International Roaming Pack with Unlimited Data

Bharti Airtel has expanded its international roaming (IR) offerings with the launch of India’s first unlimited international roaming plan that works seamlessly both overseas and within India. The telecom giant aims to simplify global connectivity with a single, affordable pack designed for convenience across 189 countries, according to a statement released on Friday, April 25.

Introducing Airtel’s New Global IR Pack

Catering especially to the long-staying Non-Resident Indian (NRI) community, Airtel has unveiled a new international recharge plan priced at ₹4,000, valid for a full year. This Global Plan for India and Abroad includes

  • 5GB of international data
  • 100 voice minutes (incoming and outgoing calls to India and local numbers)
  • 100 SMS for use abroad
  • When used in India, the pack offers 1.5GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day

This all-in-one pack ensures continuous connectivity without the hassle of managing separate domestic and international plans.

A Unified Alternative to Existing Yearly Packs

Currently, Airtel offers domestic-only yearly plans such as

  • ₹3,599 for 2GB/day
  • ₹3,999 for 2.5GB/day

However, the new ₹4,000 Global IR Pack combines 1.5GB/day for domestic use with the added advantage of international roaming benefits, making it an attractive choice for frequent travellers and NRIs.

Seamless Global Experience

With Airtel’s new offering, customers no longer need to navigate complicated zone-based or country-specific roaming plans. Key features include

  • Global coverage across 189 countries
  • Automatic activation upon arrival
  • In-flight connectivity
  • 24×7 customer support
  • Auto-renewal option for frequent flyers

Airtel claims the plan is not only convenient but also more cost-effective than most local SIM alternatives, delivering a high-value experience for users constantly on the move.

Designed for Global Citizens

This strategic launch positions Airtel as a go-to provider for Indian travelers and NRIs by offering a unified solution that bridges both local and international usage. With this move, Airtel reinforces its commitment to hassle-free, always-on connectivity—no matter where in the world its users go.
