Airtel International Roaming Pack of Rs 798, Details Here

Bharti Airtel has introduced a new international roaming (IR) pack priced at ₹798 for prepaid users, offering connectivity across 189 countries. This follows the company’s recent launch of India’s first unlimited IR plan, further expanding its global mobility offerings.

What the ₹798 IR Pack Offers

The newly launched ₹798 prepaid international roaming pack is valid for 5 days and includes:

  • 2GB of data
  • 150 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls (local and to India)
  • Free incoming SMS
  • 20 outgoing SMS

International calls while roaming are charged at ₹45 per minute during pack validity.

Charges After Pack Limits

Once the pack’s benefits are exhausted:

  • Calls: ₹10 per minute
  • SMS: ₹5 per message
  • Data: Blocked post 2GB unless topped up with an additional data pack

Top-up data packs remain valid for the remainder of the original IR pack’s validity period.

Automatic Activation and Seamless Use

The pack activates only when users connect to a supported international network and perform any chargeable action such as sending an SMS, making a call, or using mobile data.

Airtel’s IR coverage eliminates the need for multiple packs or manual network selection while traveling—one pack works seamlessly across all operators in the 189 included countries and transit locations.

Manage Everything via Airtel Thanks App

Users can track usage, manage services, and add data or call minutes through the Airtel Thanks app.

Ideal for Short Overseas Trips

This is Airtel’s first five-day IR pack, designed to cater to prepaid customers on short international trips. With comprehensive global coverage and a single, simple plan, the ₹798 pack aims to make international roaming more convenient and affordable.
