As part of its “AI for All” push, Google is making its AI Pro plan — usually priced at ₹35,100 for 18 months — available free to Reliance Jio users through a strategic collaboration with Reliance Industries.

Under the offer, Jio customers on Unlimited 5G plans (prepaid or postpaid) can access Gemini 2.5 Pro, generate images and videos via the Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models, use NotebookLM for study or research, and get 2 TB of Google Cloud storage across Google Photos, Gmail, Drive, and Android WhatsApp backups.

The free subscription will initially go out to Jio users aged 18–25, with plans to expand to all eligible Jio subscribers soon. Activation is done via the MyJio app, where users can claim the offer by following the onboarding steps.

Why It Matters for Reliance Jio

  • Boosts AI Accessibility: The deal brings cutting-edge AI to a broad user base in India, making powerful tools more democratic and inclusive.
