This collaboration will help enterprises, especially in regulated sectors like banking, healthcare, and government, modernize operations and manage AI workloads more securely and efficiently. 

Airtel and IBM Join Forces for Smarter Cloud 

Bharti Airtel announced a strategic collaboration with IBM on October 15, 2025, to enhance the Airtel Cloud ecosystem. The partnership combines Airtel’s telco-grade security, scalability, and data residency with IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI capabilities, allowing enterprises to deploy advanced workloads with higher reliability and compliance. 

Empowering Regulated Industries with AI-Driven Cloud 

Through this alliance, Airtel Cloud customers can now access the IBM Power Systems portfolio as-a-Service, including next-generation IBM Power11 AI-ready servers. These systems will support mission-critical workloads and ERP transformations using SAP Cloud ERP, Linux, IBM i, and IBM Power AIX, providing enterprises in regulated industries a secure, high-performance cloud infrastructure to accelerate digital transformation.
