BSNL Rs 1515 Prepaid Plan Discontinued

BSNL Rs 1515 Prepaid Plan Discontinued

Summary:
BSNL has discontinued its popular 1515 annual prepaid plan, offering 2GB high-speed data per day for 365 days. This move eliminates one of the cheapest long-term, data only recharge options for customers. Now users will have to choose from the small-term BSNL data pack coming with daily or bulk data benefits.

BSNL ₹1515 Annual Plan Discontinued

The ₹1515 scheme was widely preferred by heavy data users, who wanted a long-term recharge, which was just ₹4.15 per day. This offered 2GB of daily high-speed data, after which the speed fell to 40 kbps. With its withdrawal, BSNL now does not have only one year data-cavalry plan in its prepaid portfolio.

Current BSNL Data-Only Plans

After removing ₹1515 pack, now available BSNL’s data-only recharge are:

  • ₹411 pack– 90 days with high-speed data of 180 GB (2 GB data per day).
  • ₹198 pack- 40 GB high-speed data, 30-day validity.
  • ₹105 pack- 20 GB high-speed data, valid for 7 days.
  • ₹58 pack- 8 GB high-speed data, valid for 7 days.
  • ₹16 pack- 2 GB high-speed data, valid for 1 day.

Please note that, ₹58 and ₹16 packs cannot be used to extend plan validity.

The BSNL’s decision to withdraw its 1515 annual prepaid plan marks the end of one of the most valued data recharges in India. While other small packs remain, users looking for long-term data stability will need to adjust their recharge more often.
