Know BSNL Bharat Air Fiber Plans

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been providing AirFiber services for several years, long before Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel introduced their 5G Fixed-Wireless Access (FWA) offerings. BSNL’s AirFiber is available across the country, targeting areas where fiber deployment is challenging. Currently, BSNL offers three AirFiber plans, each designed to deliver high-speed broadband with substantial FUP (Fair Usage Policy) data limits.

BSNL Bharat AirFiber Plans Overview

1. Rs 499 Plan: This is BSNL’s most affordable AirFiber plan, offering speeds of up to 30 Mbps with 3.3TB of FUP data. After reaching the FUP limit, the speed drops to 2 Mbps. Users can also connect a third-party landline device to enjoy unlimited calling.

2. Rs 699 Plan: Priced at Rs 699 (excluding taxes), this plan provides 40 Mbps speeds, and after consuming the FUP data, the speed reduces to 4 Mbps. It includes the same unlimited calling benefit as the Rs 499 plan.

3. Rs 899 Plan: This is the highest-tier plan with speeds of 50 Mbps. After exhausting the FUP limit, the speed drops to 6 Mbps. Like the other plans, it also includes unlimited calling.

Each plan’s primary differentiator is the speed offered, ranging from 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps. However, BSNL’s AirFiber plans lack OTT (over-the-top) benefits, which are common in private telecom providers’ plans. While BSNL focuses on basic connectivity, Jio offers a wider range of options, though BSNL remains a solid choice for users in areas with limited fiber access.
