Tejas Networks Launches Indigenous MIMO Radio

Tejas Networks (BSE: 540595) (NSE: TEJASNET) announced that Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union Minister of Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region, inaugurated the Tejas Center of Excellence for Wireless Communications at their Bangalore headquarters. During his visit, the minister also launched the company’s indigenously designed 32T32R Massive MIMO radio, capable of delivering over 1 Gbps download speeds using 5G mid-band spectrum. 

Praising Tejas Networks, Minister Scindia stated, “Tejas Networks has shown that Indian companies can design and manufacture high-quality, cutting-edge products and compete successfully with the best global players in the telecom sector. I am impressed by the range of world-class wireless and wireline products developed by Tejas in India, which are integral to major networks both domestically and internationally.” 

The Tejas Center of Excellence aims to advance research in technologies, standards, and architectures that will support next-generation mobile networks, evolving towards 6G and beyond. The center is equipped with advanced modeling tools and test infrastructure to design, prototype, and commercialize innovative wireless products aligned with ITU-R’s IMT-2030 framework. It focuses on emerging areas such as AI/ML, Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC), Massive MIMO, Terahertz Communications, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), and Sub-band Full Duplex (SBFD).
