BSNL Introduces Amarnath Yatra SIM Card

The Amarnath Yatra 2024 began on June 29 and will continue until August 19, offering pilgrims the chance to visit Baba Barfani of Shri Amarnath Ji. To enhance connectivity for the pilgrims, BSNL, the state-run telecom company, has introduced a special SIM card designed specifically for the Amarnath Yatra. This travel SIM card enables users to stay connected with their family members throughout their pilgrimage.

BSNL guarantees uninterrupted network coverage during the Amarnath Ji pilgrimage. The BSNL Yatra SIM is priced at Rs 196 and comes with a 4G SIM card valid for 10 days, offering unlimited voice and data benefits.

How to Get BSNL Special Amarnath Yatra SIM

To obtain the travel SIM card, individuals need to provide their Aadhar card or another form of ID for KYC (Know Your Customer) along with the Shri Amarnath Yatra slip. Once the requirements are met, passengers will receive an active BSNL SIM card, which provides voice calling and data services for 10 days along the Yatra route at key locations such as Lakhanpur, Bhagwati Nagar, Chandrakot, Pahalgam, Baltal, and other important places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Additionally, BSNL offers a Rs 108 plan voucher available to customers all over India. This plan includes unlimited voice calling and 1GB of daily data, with a service validity of 28 days, though it does not include SMS benefits. Users can recharge with talk time to send SMS messages, which are charged at 80 paise per local SMS and Rs 1.20 per national SMS.

BSNL also offers another plan with a 28-day validity for Rs 107, providing 3GB of free data, 200 minutes of free voice calling, and BSNL Tunes for 35 days. This plan is available in all telecom circles.
