BSNL Land Monetization Land in Kondapalli, Tuni, and Palakol to be E-Auctioned

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the sale of its land in Kondapalli near Vijayawada, Tuni, and Palakol through an e-auction as part of its strategy to monetize surplus land parcels and buildings. The reserve price for the land in Tuni has been set at ₹12.94 crore, while for Palakol and Kondapalli, it is ₹11.19 crore and ₹11.02 crore, respectively, according to M. Seshachalam, Chief General Manager (CGM) of BSNL Andhra Pradesh Telecom Circle.

“The monetization of surplus land and buildings aims to generate revenue through sale or lease. Last financial year, the BSNL Andhra Pradesh Circle sold assets in Vijayawada and Tadepalligudem for ₹40 crore,” stated Seshachalam. He also mentioned that BSNL earned ₹10 crore by leasing surplus built-up spaces at prime locations in Andhra Pradesh, during a media briefing on June 14 (Friday).

“This initiative is part of the revival plan, driven by new technologies that have led to the miniaturization of equipment. The revenue generated will be reinvested into network expansion and upgrades,” he added.

Details of the surplus land parcels can be found at land monetisation website and buildings at rental BSNL website , according to Senior General Manager (Assets) K.V. Satya Prasad. For clarifications regarding the lease or purchase of BSNL’s surplus assets, interested parties can contact via WhatsApp at 9490100072 or email at agm.aplb@bsnl.co.in , as informed by Krishna district General Manager (Telecom) Y.
