Reliance Jio, India’s leading telecom operator, offers its Rs 799 prepaid recharge under the Value category. This plan has been available for quite some time, and its Rs 799 price point makes it an affordable option for many Indian consumers seeking a medium-term recharge. The plan covers most essential benefits, but it does not include OTT subscriptions or 5G connectivity. The absence of 5G is because the plan provides only 1.5GB of data per day. Jio has stated that 5G access is available with plans offering 2GB or more daily data. Here is a quick overview of the benefits included with the Rs 799 plan.

Reliance Jio Rs 799 Prepaid Plan Benefits

The Rs 799 prepaid recharge from Reliance Jio comes with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1.5GB of daily data. The plan remains active for 84 days. Additional benefits include access to JioTV and JioAICloud. Although the recharge does not officially bundle OTT benefits, customers receive a complimentary JioHotstar Mobile subscription. However, Jio may discontinue this offer at any time. Customers also get access to the Google Gemini offer.

Jio has introduced a Google AI Pro subscription for eligible users. Customers who recharge with any Jio prepaid plan priced at Rs 299 or above can receive Google’s Gemini AI Pro plan. To retain access to the Google AI Pro subscription, users must continue recharging with a Jio plan costing at least Rs 299. The benefit is available for 18 months and has a stated value of Rs 35,100, but customers receive it at no additional cost. While unlimited 5G is not included, the overall benefits offered with the Rs 799 plan remain quite attractive.
