Tata Communications Collaborates with Singapore Airlines to Elevate Customer Experience

Tata Communications and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) have entered into a multi-year agreement to overhaul the airline’s communication and collaboration tools, aiming to enhance employee productivity and elevate user experience. The collaboration builds upon the longstanding and successful partnership between SIA and Tata Communications, leveraging the transformative capabilities of Tata Communications GlobalRapide platform. This initiative ensures that SIA users remain connected and collaborative globally, fostering anytime, anywhere communication. 

Amitabh Sarkar, Vice President & Head of Asia Pacific and Japan – Enterprise at Tata Communications, expressed pride in the enduring relationship with Singapore Airlines, emphasizing Tata Communications’ role as a global CommTech player contributing to SIA’s progress and the establishment of new benchmarks in customer experiences. 

Over the past five years, Tata Communications has collaborated with SIA, providing solutions that go beyond communication and collaboration. The partnership includes the implementation of Tata Communications IZOTM SDWAN, which facilitates intelligent customer call routing to SIA’s global customer service centers, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Moreover, SIA’s pilot and cabin crew collaboration platforms benefit from Tata Communications MOVE, a global intelligent cellular connectivity solution. This technology enables swift and secure exchange of critical flight and passenger data on pilots and crew tablets, contributing to expedited flight turnarounds, enhanced on-time performance, and substantial cost savings compared to traditional data roaming solutions.
