Reliance Jio Recharge Plans Offering JioHotstar Subscription

Reliance Jio Recharge Plans Offering JioHotstar Subscription

Reliance Jio currently offers only one prepaid recharge plan that includes a JioHotstar subscription—the Rs 949 plan. While this is not a new plan, the bundled Disney+ Hotstar subscription has now transitioned to JioHotstar.

For those unfamiliar, Jio recently introduced the JioHotstar platform, merging JioCinema Premium and Disney+ Hotstar Premium into a single streaming service. We’ve already covered the details of JioHotstar in-depth—refer to the link below for more information. For now, let’s focus on the Rs 949 prepaid plan, the only JioHotstar-inclusive option from Reliance Jio.

Reliance Jio Rs 949 Plan – JioHotstar Benefits

Jio’s Rs 949 prepaid plan comes with an 84-day validity and offers 2GB of daily data. Additional benefits include unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Since this plan includes 2GB of daily data, users also get unlimited 5G access at no extra cost. The JioHotstar subscription is bundled for free with this plan.

It’s important to note that the included JioHotstar subscription is a 90-day mobile-only plan. JioHotstar offers three different subscription tiers, which are detailed in the link provided above.

If you prefer, you can also subscribe to JioHotstar separately. Moving forward, users will no longer have the option to subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar or JioCinema individually. The JioHotstar platform is now live and available for download on the Google Play Store. Existing users of the Disney+ Hotstar app do not need to install a new app—the current app has been rebranded and redesigned as JioHotstar.
