Jio’s Unlimited 5G Plan to End on January 31, 2025

Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, is set to discontinue its New Year prepaid plan offering truly unlimited 5G. Initially launched in December 2024, the plan was available from December 11, 2024, to January 11, 2025. However, Jio has extended the offer’s availability until January 31, 2025. This extension provides customers with a final opportunity to opt for this plan, which comes with notable benefits, including vouchers for various platforms.

The Rs 2025 prepaid plan offers 200 days of service validity, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS/day, and 2.5GB of daily data. The plan’s highlight is the additional perks, such as unlimited 5G data with no FUP (fair usage policy) restrictions. Other benefits include a Rs 500 discount coupon from Ajio on purchases of Rs 2,999 or more, a Rs 1,500 discount from EaseMyTrip on flight bookings, and Rs 150 off on Swiggy orders above Rs 499. Customers also gain access to Jio apps, including JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud. With 500GB of 4G data bundled in, the plan ensures substantial connectivity for its duration.

While the Rs 2025 plan remains available nationwide, its discontinuation is scheduled for January 31, 2025, with no confirmation of further extensions. Customers interested in this long-term plan are encouraged to recharge promptly before the offer expires. After 200 days, users can choose from other long-term Jio prepaid plans to maintain uninterrupted service.
