Best Reliance Jio Family Plans and for Individuals in October 2024

Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, offers a range of JioPlus postpaid plans, including individual and family options, introduced in March 2023. Here’s an overview of the postpaid offerings as of now, based on Jio’s website and app, ranging from the lowest to the highest price point. 

Jio Rs 349 Postpaid – Individual Plan 

This entry-level plan for individual users is priced at Rs 349 and includes unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 30GB of data per month. After exhausting the data limit, additional data is charged at Rs 10 per GB. Unlike some prepaid plans, it doesn’t offer unlimited data at reduced speeds after the limit. The plan also includes access to JioTV, JioCinema (non-premium), JioCloud, and unlimited 5G data

Jio Rs 449 Postpaid – Family Plan 

The Rs 449 plan is Jio’s base option for families. It provides unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 75GB of data, with additional data costing Rs 10 per GB. The primary user can add up to three family SIMs, each offering an additional 5GB of data per month at Rs 150 per SIM. This plan also includes access to JioTV, JioCinema (non-premium), JioCloud, and unlimited 5G data. For a family of four, the total cost is Rs 899 (Rs 449 + Rs 150 * 3), excluding taxes. 

Jio Rs 649 Postpaid – Individual Plan 

For Rs 649, individual users get unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited data throughout the billing cycle. There are no stated Fair Usage Policy (FUP) restrictions. Additional perks include access to JioTV, JioCinema (non-premium), JioCloud, and unlimited 5G data. 

Jio Rs 749 Postpaid – Family Plan 

Priced at Rs 749, this family plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 100GB of data. Additional data is charged at Rs 10 per GB. Users can add up to three family SIMs, each providing 5GB of extra data at Rs 150 per SIM. This plan comes with subscriptions to Netflix (Basic) and Amazon Prime Lite, along with access to JioTV, JioCinema (non-premium), JioCloud, and unlimited 5G data. The Amazon Prime Lite subscription is valid for two years. 

Jio Rs 1549 Postpaid – Individual Plan 

Jio’s highest-priced postpaid plan is Rs 1549. It offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 300GB of data with a 500GB rollover limit. After 300GB, additional data is Rs 10 per GB. Subscribers also receive Netflix (Mobile) and Amazon Prime Lite (for two years), along with JioTV, JioCinema (non-premium), JioCloud, and unlimited 5G data. This plan includes international roaming benefits, offering 5GB of data and 500 minutes for calls in the USA, and 1GB of data with 300 minutes in the UAE.

Jio emphasizes various perks for its postpaid users, including priority callback service, the option to choose a new number, international roaming, unlimited 5G data, and the ability to carry forward credit limits when porting numbers to Jio, ensuring uninterrupted service.
