Bharti Airtel reported a massive 89% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit for Q2 FY26, reaching ₹8,651 crore. This growth comes as Airtel aggressively targets premium users, especially in its mobile segment

  • ARPU Boost: Airtel’s ARPU hit ₹256, up from ₹233 last year, significantly outpacing Jio’s ARPU. 
  • Customer Growth: The telco added 5.1 million new smartphone users in the quarter, contributing to 22.2 million new smartphone data users over the last 12 months. 
  • Revenue: Consolidated revenue climbed to ₹52,145 crore, up 25.7% YoY. 
  • Margins & Efficiency: Airtel’s EBITDA margin strengthened to 57.4%, reflecting strong operational performance. 
  • Network Expansion: During the quarter, Airtel added 2,479 telecom towers and 20,841 mobile broadband base stations, reinforcing its infrastructure capabilities.
