BSNL Rules Out Tariff Hikes

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has confirmed it will not raise tariffs in the near future, despite all private telecom operators increasing their rates in July 2024. The company remains focused on customer satisfaction and building consumer trust, according to BSNL Chairman and Managing Director Robert Ravi. 

“We are not going to increase our tariffs in the near future. Our primary goal is to ensure customer happiness and gain their confidence,” Ravi stated.  

BSNL has already begun testing its 4G services and expects a full commercial rollout by the end of the year, with around 1.8 crore customers already onboarded.
