Jio’s Rs 198 Prepaid Plan Offers Unlimited 5G

Jio's Rs 198 Prepaid Plan Offers Unlimited 5G

Reliance Jio is the only Indian telecom operator offering 5G services at a price point below Rs 200. This is a strategic move for Jio, as it caters to its highly price-sensitive customer base. After the tariff hike in July 2024, Jio updated its 5G terms—now, only plans with 2GB of daily data qualify for 5G access. In response, Jio introduced a new prepaid plan priced under Rs 200 that includes unlimited 5G.

Reliance Jio Rs 198 Prepaid Plan

Jio’s Rs 198 prepaid plan offers 14 days of validity, unlimited voice calling, 2GB of daily data, and 100 SMS/day. Since it includes 2GB of daily data, this plan also bundles unlimited 5G access.

Users need to claim the unlimited 5G offer through the MyJio app if they haven’t already. While the plan’s validity is only 14 days, it’s an excellent way to test Jio’s 5G speeds, which can reach hundreds of Mbps in most cities and towns across India, without any data consumption limits.
