Railtel Corporation of India has secured a ₹155.71 crore contract from the Maharashtra government’s Rural Development Department to implement the ASSK-GP project. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity in the Konkan, Pune, and Nashik regions. The project is expected to be completed by September 2025, aligning with Maharashtra’s broader goal of improving rural infrastructure. Railtel’s western zone, which is already engaged in multiple projects across the state, anticipates additional orders in the coming months, indicating some exciting numbers in excess of 200 Crores along with their strategic business partner in the state.

The share price of Railtel surged following the announcement of its ₹155.71 crore contract from the Maharashtra government for the ASSK-GP project. The market responded positively to this news, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s ability to secure large government contracts and its strong position in the telecom infrastructure sector.
