Airtel Launches New Plan for T20 World Cup, New Subscription Plans on Disney Hotstar

On 4th June, Bharti Airtel launched new plans for prepaid, postpaid, and home broadband customers, aimed at enhancing the viewing experience for the T20 Cricket Tournament and retaining data-hungry users. Airtel announced it is offering a three-month subscription to Disney+ Hotstar, the official streaming partner of the T20 Cricket Tournament in India, across its prepaid, postpaid, international roaming, home broadband, and Airtel Digital TV services. 

The Airtel prepaid plans for the T20 Cricket Tournament are priced at ₹499 (28 days validity with 3GB/day), ₹869 (84 days validity with 2GB/day), and ₹3,359 (365 days validity with 2.5GB/day). These plans also provide access to over 20 OTT content streaming services on Airtel Xstream for free, along with benefits from Apollo 24×7 and Fastag. 

Airtel’s postpaid plans include a one-year Disney+ Hotstar subscription and access to over 20 OTT platforms on the Xstream App, unlimited 5G data, and family add-on benefits. These plans range from ₹399 to ₹1,499, offering data between 30GB and 200GB, plus the Xstream Play benefit. 

For home broadband customers, high-speed internet plans with professional and infinity options are available at ₹999, ₹1,498, and ₹3,999. These plans include unlimited Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions and other benefits. Airtel has also simplified international roaming packs for customers traveling to the US and Canada to watch live matches, offering in-flight connectivity and international roaming starting at ₹133/day. 

Additionally, Airtel Digital TV now offers India’s first 4K service, providing a more immersive and breathtaking experience for cricket enthusiasts during the T20 cricket season, the Sunil Mittal-led telco stat.
