Sanjay Mashruwala Quits Reliance Jio

Sanjay Mashruwala, the Managing Director of Reliance Jio, has announced his resignation from the company, effective June 9. Aged 76, Mashruwala has been a key figure within the Reliance Group, serving in various capacities before assuming the role of MD at Reliance Jio in 2013. 

Reliance Industries Ltd, in an exchange filing on 23 April 2024, expressed gratitude for Mashruwala’s significant contributions during the company’s transformative journey. Mashruwala served as one of Reliance Jio’s two managing directors, alongside Pankaj Mohan Pawar, who will continue in his current role, as per the statement.
