ACT Fibernet Partners with Aprecomm for Wi-Fi Optimization

India’s leading wired broadband ISP, ACT Fibernet, has announced a strategic partnership with Aprecomm to deploy advanced technology aimed at optimizing residential Wi-Fi connections. The collaboration seeks to leverage AI-powered solutions to enhance the in-home Wi-Fi experience for ACT Fibernet’s extensive user base, comprising over two million connected households. The primary goal is to reduce customer issue resolution time while improving network performance.

AI-Powered Wi-Fi Optimization

Aprecomm’s AI Engine will empower ACT Fibernet to transform household connections into AI-enabled Smart Wi-Fi access points. This transformation will enable proactive monitoring and real-time insights, leading to enhanced network reliability and performance.

Pramod Gummaraj, CEO of Aprecomm, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the introduction of cutting-edge technology into ACT’s network. He anticipates a significant reduction in customer support handling time and a notable improvement in overall customer experience, with more innovation to come in the network space.

Enhanced Customer Experience

Sarath Kumar, CTO of ACT Fibernet, shared insights into the development, stating that they have conducted extensive testing of the technology in their labs and are optimistic about its potential. Integrating Aprecomm’s advanced technology into their network infrastructure aims to provide visibility and analytics of Wi-Fi performance, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.

Guharajan Sivakumar, CTO of Aprecomm, highlighted the vendor-agnostic nature of their technology, which enables ACT Fibernet to manage and monitor Customer Premises Equipment (CPEs) through a unified interface. This integration is poised to lower maintenance costs and elevate customer satisfaction levels, as outlined in the official release.
