Ashwini Vaishnaw Inaugurates VVDN’s State-of-the-Art SMT Line for 4G and 5G Module Manufacturing in India 

Global engineering and manufacturing services provider, VVDN Technologies, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line in India to manufacture 4G and 5G connectivity modules, as well as data cards for Telit Cinterion, a global intelligent edge solutions enabler. The inauguration was officiated by Union Minister for Railways and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Telit Cinterion CEO Paolo Dal Pino at VVDN Technologies in Manesar, Gurugram. 

Vaishnaw commended the development and emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision has transformed India into a significant hub for telecom design, manufacturing, and exports. He highlighted the complexity of the manufacturing process and acknowledged VVDN Technologies for its achievement. Telit Cinterion’s decision to manufacture in India is expected to expand its business reach and models in the country. 

 VVDN, with its extensive capabilities in PCB assembly, mechanical engineering, tooling, molding, die casting, pre-compliance certification, and advanced cybersecurity software and firmware flashing, can mass-produce cutting-edge electronic products. The new SMT line will focus on manufacturing modules, data cards, and custom products for various industries, including smart energy, EV charging, smart buildings, telematics, and retail. 

Puneet Agarwal, CEO and Co-founder of VVDN Technologies, stated that this dedicated SMT line will significantly contribute to the mass production of essential electronic components. Dal Pino recognized India as an emerging global leader in high-quality electronics manufacturing and emphasized that the partnership with VVDN is a game-changer that accelerates their time-to-market and enhances digital transformation in India. 

VVDN Technologies has 11 R&D centers and 7 manufacturing plants, focusing on electronic product engineering and manufacturing for OEMs worldwide.
