Reliance Jio Surges Ahead: 85% 5G Network Deployed, Setting Pace with 10-Second 5G Cell Deployment, Says Akash Ambani 

Reliance Jio, a prominent telecom company in India, has achieved a significant milestone in the deployment of 5G network infrastructure. According to Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio, the company has successfully deployed 85% of the 5G network across the entire country. Moreover, the company has demonstrated an impressive capability to deploy a new 5G cell every 10 seconds, highlighting their dedication to expanding their network swiftly. 

This accomplishment surpasses the initial timeline set for the rollout of 5G services, which was expected to be completed by December 2023. Akash Ambani expressed his pride in Reliance Jio’s speed and commitment to delivering a robust True 5G network nationwide, well ahead of schedule. Notably, Reliance Jio has contributed to 85% of the entire 5G deployment in India.

 

Reliance Jio’s network prowess has garnered recognition from various quarters. Ookla, a broadband speed and quality measurement firm, awarded Reliance Jio with all nine Speedtest awards for mobile networks in the Indian market, making them the number one network provider in the country. These awards span various categories, including the best mobile network, fastest mobile network, best mobile coverage, top-rated mobile network, best mobile video experience, best mobile gaming experience, fastest 5G mobile network, best 5G mobile video experience, and best 5G mobile gaming experience. 

These accolades demonstrate Reliance Jio’s commitment to offering the best customer experience, particularly in terms of speed, video quality, and gaming. The recognition from Ookla positions Reliance Jio as the most awarded network provider in India, reaffirming their ambition to provide world-class network services to their customers. Reliance Jio’s remarkable achievement in deploying the 5G network solidifies its role as a leader in the Indian telecommunications sector and underscores the company’s commitment to India’s digital future.
