According to the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, the new AI data centre initiative will be supported by an investment of up to ₹35 billion through a newly established HCLTech subsidiary. The project is expected to develop up to 50 megawatts of AI data centre capacity, with scope for future expansion.
He further stated that the new investment will build upon HCLTech’s existing strengths in AI data centre architecture, DevOps, AI cloud operations, and its software portfolio. Together, these capabilities are intended to create a fully integrated, end-to-end AI infrastructure offering, the company said in a regulatory filing.
